Metanet Explorer

Use the Explorer 1.2.1 mobile browser and wallet on iOS or Android: setup, funding, payments, recovery and builder integration.

Metanet Explorer combines a mobile web browser with a BRC-100 wallet. Open Metanet websites inside Explorer to use identity, permissions, payments and certificates without moving your private keys into the website. For a computer's ordinary web browser, use Metanet Client.

Release covered: 1.2.1. Last verified: October 26, 2026. Get the official app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app identifier is app.metanet.explorer. Availability and device requirements depend on the store and region.

Browser plus wallet

Ordinary browsing and wallet-enabled app use are different capabilities. A site opened in Explorer can request wallet access through its bridge; it does not receive approval simply because you visited. Read the requesting origin, capability and amount before granting permission.

The verified iOS 1.2.1 build does not include the entitlement needed to act as the system default browser. Open Explorer directly for these guides; do not depend on links from another app automatically arriving in it. Android and iOS system/browser behavior can differ.

Current and older products

These guides describe the current Explorer mobile app, not an old browser extension, the archived desktop-wallet line or every product called Metanet. Keep older recovery material until a migration has been verified. Shared developer examples use @bsv/sdk and BRC-100 so they remain portable across compatible wallets.
